Getting Started
- Attend Our Events: We invite you to attend three of our club events or meetings to get to know us better. Experience firsthand the camaraderie, spirit of service, and the impact we make in our community. Contact Us and we will send you our events calendar for upcoming gatherings.
- Discover Rotary: During these events, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about Rotary, our values, and our mission to serve others. Engage with our members, ask questions, and explore how you can contribute your skills and passions to our club.
- Connecting with Us: As you attend our events, take the time to connect with fellow members and build relationships. We believe in the power of fellowship and collaboration, and we look forward to getting to know you better.
Membership Application Process
Once you’ve attended three events and feel that Rotary is the right fit for you, we encourage you to proceed with the membership application process. Here’s what to expect:
- Application Submission: The Membership chair will review the application process in more detail. Don’t worry the process if fairly straightforward and we are seeking diversity – young professionals, community volunteers, and senior professionals and retirees are welcome!
- Review of Club Dues: Our club dues and one time application fees cover various administrative costs, costs of breakfast and other foods during socials, service projects, and Rotary International fees. Details regarding dues will be provided during the application process.
- Application Review Process: You will have an informal and complimentary breakfast with our Club President to discuss your interests, expectations, and how you envision contributing to our club’s mission.
- Induction Ceremony: Upon approval of your membership application, you will be officially inducted into Rotary Club of Madison. The induction ceremony is a special occasion where you’ll be welcomed into our Rotary family and receive your Rotary pin and other materials.
