To kick off the Holiday Season, Rotarians take shifts at the local Wal-Mart to support the Salvation Army by ringing the famous bells for the red kettle. Pictured above is Rotarian Gail LeCroy and husband Ronnie. A special gratitude to Gail for organizing our participation in this community event each year.
In the last several years, the City of Madison has incorporated the Christmas Tree Tinsel Trail into the holiday offerings downtown. Rotary is proud to be one of the earliest supporters and several times the People’s Choice Award Winner. It’s not Christmas until you hear the bells ringing at the red kettles. Every December, Madison Rotarians ring in the Holiday season at the local Wal Mart (Highway 20), enjoying the spirit of the season while helping raise money for our great partner, the Salvation Army. Pictured above is Rotarian Peter Alvarez and family.
Wal Mart (Highway 20) in Madison once again provided a great location for us to support our partner, the Salvation Army. We proudly participate in the annual bell ringing campaign that raises money for many families during the holiday season and throughout the year. Pictured above is Tommy Overcash with Rotarians Debbie Overcash and Toni Johnson.
Pictured above are Rotarians Tom Lemieux and Larry Muncey showing off their bell ringing skills. Every December, we schedule shifts throughout a Saturday to ring bells at both kettles in front of Madison’s Wal Mart. We appreciate the great community support for not only our Rotary efforts, but more importantly the great work the Salvation Army does in our community throughout the year.
Thanks to all our bell ringers this year: the big ones above and the little ones below. Rotarians above are John O’Donnell (with daughter, Maddie) and Paula Cushman. It was a great day to be out in our wonderful community, helping our partner the Salvation Army.
Rotarians volunteered earlier this month to ring the Salvation Army’s bells at our local Wal Mart. Art Shaw is pictured above with Kim Tilghman as they support this annual event to raise money for the Salvation Army’s year-round projects.
Who doesn’t love hot chocolate and cookies on a winter night? Madison Rotarians welcome Christmas Parade attendees to the Gazebo for complimentary treats during and after the parade.
