Celebrating 20 Years!!!

The Rotary Club of Madison marked its 20th anniversary with a Family of Rotary celebration at the Rocket City Tavern.

Among our special guests was District Governor Carol Argo who spoke to the crowd about Madison’s legacy of successful service projects and life-long friendships.  At the conclusion of the dinner and program, we asked Rotarians Art Shaw and Tori Watts to blow out the candles on the Rotary cake, acknowledging that our Family includes Rotarians of all ages.

While we have grown significantly over these 20 years and have seen many people come and go, we are still the same close-knit family that we were when we started — before Parrots of the Caribbean, Honduras, our Done-in-a-Day projects, RYLAthe Childrens’ Garden, and all those other hundred or so service projects we have developed and supported.  It has indeed been a great ride and on behalf of my entire Rotary Family, we encourage you to learn more about what Rotarians are doing in our community.  And then get ready for the next 20 years… it should be spectacular!
