Honduras 2019: “We are doing good work”

Madison Rotarian John Allen joined our Honduras team this year for his first trip to the beautiful city of Choluteca.

When asked about his first impressions and thoughts of the trip, he said the first image was the immense poverty that is everywhere.  John said he enjoyed every minute of the work and getting to know the people of Choluteca.  Like most of us that have been a part of this journey at some time or another over the last 13 years, he appreciates the importance of this international service.  “We are doing good work there and changing lives. We have made a difference.  We can’t save the world, but can change a small portion with what we can do.”
