Every project needs a foreman: Rotarians Joe Kemp (l.) and Tom Lemieux
The forecast thunderstorms held off this past Saturday long enough for us to cleanup our “Rotary Mile” of Sullivan Street.
About 20 Rotarians wearing “Rotarian at Work” shirts and vests walked north from Highway 20 to approximately the railroad tracks, picking up litter along the way. Our first Adopt-a-Mile cleanup day was just one more of our Done-in-a-Day projects that, at the end of the day, leaves our city a little better than when we started.
