The JCHS Interact Club participated in two major fundraising efforts during the school year 2016-2017 to raise funds for a child in Haiti they have sponsored for 5 years.
Along with Interact students from Bob Jones High School, they worked at a face painting booth at the Madison Street Festival. This event raised over $180. During Valentines Day, the students raised another $200 from their 4th annual Valentine’s Day flower sale.
The Interact Club also co-sponsored the Global Heritage Expo in November. This was a school wide program that allowed students to share their culture with their school community. The Rotary Club of Madison donated money to help purchase supplies for many of their booths and activities.
