The 2014 Change for Change (C4C) Campaign was kicked off under a new coordinator, D.J. Klein. During the month of November, D.J. collected money from Rotarians to contribute to Rotary International’s PolioPlus Fund.

This past month, Madison Rotarians helped establish Alabama’s first university-sponsored Rotaract Club at Alabama A&M University. The organization was chartered as “the Alabama A&M University – Global Social Service Research Rotaract Club.” Its mission statement states the club will provide “a high standard of leadership, promote excellence in academia and a moral compass devoted to service, to its members, the A&M campus and global communities.” Membership is open to any A&M student. The popular Parrot of the Caribbean t-shirt has long been a hit with Rotarians as well as the annual Parrots party goers. Somerset Group, company of long-time Rotarian, Carol Rives, designed its brightly colored logo in 2005. The design features our logo plus a large red parrot, palm tree and coconuts.
